Ancient China inspires Zuhair Murad
As soon as this came in the way of my quest for ideas, I couldn’t help but
notice the remarkable splendor of this gown, or should I say ‘Gown’. The Beirut based international designer Zuhair Murad introduced this beautiful dress in his latest Summer 2012 Collection; obviously inspired by Antic China, when Dahlia, Orchid and Chrysanthemum flowers used to symbolize power and well-being. It seems like the Asiatic flowers are wrapping the body of the model, with long layers of a fading, innocent beige. This ‘blossoming’ dress is true piece of artwork, proving an allure of serenity and feminine mightiness.
