First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates going here on my blog. It’s just that time is going away like crazy. Plus I have my finals for the next two Wednesdays, two Fridays and next Monday. Meaning that I’ll be too busy drowning myself in fat books. BUTT! I finish school after that (May 10) which is kind of cool because I’ll have more time to take care of my baby blog! Anyways! I was watching fashiontv today, checking out their first faces countdown list for the season and some Mackenzie Drazan came in fifth (if I’m not wrong). So, while I was checking out her information, I found out that she was born on August 10th, 1995. That kind of shocked me because she gives such a mature woman look but oh well it’s the modelling business. She’s really admirable, the way she looks and walks on the runway.. It was all too noticeable! Check out some of her photos for this season’s top brands’ fashion shows.I just think she’s sublime.

So I’m guessing if you’re someone whose into the music and keeps up with the industry’s news, you’ll know that Nicki Minaj’s ‘Starships’ video is set to be  on Youtube today. I got my Vevo app for iPhone and watched the whole 4 minutes thing. And I can say that I’ve never seen as many colors as in Nick’s video. Seriously. As much as I enjoyed the totally irrelevant video (blond/black girl dancing in a sexy bikini on some tropical islands with vivid colors all around her), the graphics and scenes are just too hard not to notice, just sexy lustful sinful catchy visuals. I mean that’s what Starships about. Well done Nicki!! I’m sure the barbz are proud.

Who doesn’t love Prada? If you don’t, please close this page as you’re not welcome on here anymore! I’m kidding. The brand has had an enormous success with their Spring shoes, bags, sunglasses and accessories. I mean who else could pull of this trick, mixing joyful figures and action-y effects with high-luxury fashion? Of course Prada can! Teaming up  with Vahram Muratyan, the fashion house has created a group of GIF images for online marketing purposes, calling the project ‘ Prada Parallel Universes’. I looked up for some of the looks on the Spring runway, matched them together to give you an idea of what was going on back in September in case you missed their main idea. And then I put the GIF images that I totally love because they look so well done and cute!

Ever since I started following the fashion industry’s events all over the world, one of my top 5 designers have always been Proenza Schouler,  because in one word – They simply know what women want. The PS1 bag made a HUGEEEE success all over the world, from actresses to heiresses, passing by models ( one being The Leighton Meester). And to be honest the PS1 bag is a really beautifully made purse that I goshed over back during Spring collections season. But here’s another PS1 bag by Proenza Schouler for $1,855, you might have never seen because and I think that you cannot go through with your life without crawling for one. Admit it. Hawaiian influence and leather are the best combination, I see no disappointment in this one. Well done PS!
