Pastel Above My Brain

I rarely post about hair and beauty trends and stuff like that because fashion is my only concern in this matter, I know some of you consider beauty and style somewhat fashion but I don’t, I think it just comes along, it completes the couture lifestyle, it’s a plus.

Recently, there’s a new trend going in the showbiz world. You get to dye your hair in any pastel color you want, not completely, and not just some locks, but I don’t know, some kind of fusion/interference/confusion on your head. Trust me, it’s a cool thing. Maybe that’s the summer hair color trend, somehow, somewhat. But, seriously, I’m digging it!

Katy Perry kicked it off with 90% dyed purple hair this Spring (miraculously, it didn’t turn out to be a cheap look). That’s what I mean! Color the hair and prevent a trashy Japanese teenage gurls look!!

Then we got celebrity blogger Haylie Duff with a somewhat ‘aqua’ look which I think is minty green, but it looks lovely for all that matters.

And finally with Dev, the Latina chick who likes her base down low! Just beautiful bleached hair with minty curls and we love it that way!
